Your appointed guide will take you through a narrative hike that meanders through the Belizean rainforest ending up at the start of the tubing trip through the limestone cave, which the Mayans believed to be the entrance to the underworld known as Xibalba.
A slow current carries you through the cave, so bring your waterproof camera to record your float. Note: Lifejackets, and headlamps are provided.
Beautiful cave formations are seen throughout the cave. Stalactites hang from the ceiling and stalagmites from the floor of the cave.
When you exit the cave your journey on the river has ended. The cave system continues but the river sumps underground before re emerging downstream.
